| I’ve had to make a change in the destination for this Sunday’s cruise. I just learned that Carolina Brewery has changed their group reservation policy and it doesn’t fit with how we do our cruise meals. So we’re going to plan B, which is a picnic.
The forecast looks great for Sunday so instead of going to a restaurant we’re heading to The Scoop ice cream shop in Fuquay-Varina. We’ve gone their once before in 2022 and it is a great destination for a picnic. It is a quaint, farmer-owned country style ice cream shop. I called and confirmed that they are now open for the season.
All the original plans we made for this Sunday’s cruise remain exactly the same except for the destination. This means you will want to bring a picnic lunch with you if you plan to eat. Of course there will be ice cream available too.
