2026 Fun in the Sun Spring Car Show
Corvettes International held our 27th annual Fun in the Sun Car Show April 11, 2026 at the Hendrick Center for Automotive Excellence, Wake Tech Scott Northern Campus and was another huge success. We again raised funds for our primary charity sponsor Transitions LifeCare Hospice and Wake Tech Automotive Programs. Since 2002, we have raised over $250,000 for Transitions LifeCare and $25,000 for the Wake Tech Automotive Programs. We had a variety of vehicles attend including classic cars, street rods, exotic cars, trucks and modern cars.Â
A number of raffles were held with weekend getaways, driving experiences , cruises and many automobile related items. All registrants received a free carwash certificate from Raleigh Auto Spa and a dash plaque. Corvettes NCCC double points were awarded. Awards were given by decades and awarded 3 deep. Award trophy plaques were custom made by a club member cut from seasoned beams over 100 years old. Food trucks were available and we conducted a 50/50 raffle.7
