A Message from our Club President
Corvettes International is the oldest Corvette club in North Carolina. We celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2018. In the Spring of 1968, a group of Corvette enthusiasts met in Raleigh, North Carolina to establish Corvettes International (CVI). Since 1968, Corvettes International has thrived in association with the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC) as a traditional car club focusing on helping other Corvette owners with mechanical and interior/exterior issues on all Corvette generations as well as giving back to the community where we live.
The primary objective of CVI has been to empower its members to pursue their automotive passion and have fun with their Corvettes. While developing our annual schedule of activities, we try to find events which will appeal to a broad range of interests. The CVI calendar usually includes social events, car shows, monthly Sunday cruises and Corvettes at Carlisle. Our social events include day trips to breweries, restaurants, and other club activities as well as extended road trips to places such as The National Corvette Museum, Virginia International Raceway, Wake County Speedway and other events. We usually gather with members of other Corvette clubs at these events in the Corvette corrals. Our social calendar also includes family picnics and holiday parties.
Our club hosts a general membership meeting on the first Tuesday of every month. One of the unique features of Corvettes International is that during our meeting a special time is set aside for technical questions/car problems. With several engineers and do-it-yourselfers in the club, there is a wealth of knowledge shared within the CVI group.
Our annual Fun in the Sun April Car Show traditionally takes place in April in Raleigh, North Carolina. Often entrants travel from eastern and central North Carolina to attend the car show and help us support Transitions LifeCare, Hospice of Wake County. Advance Auto, Ted Wilder State Farm Ins., and Hendrick Chevrolet Cary sponsor our spring car show and have been major contributors helping CVI contribute more than $142,000.00 to charity over the past 14 years.
If you like to have fun, enjoy Corvettes, and would like to be part of our historic club, then please consider joining us and become a member.
I hope to hear from you and look forward to seeing you at a club meeting.

Save the Wave,
Keith Beck, President
