Our annual trip to Corvettes at Carlisle is August 27-29, 2026. For our newer members and those that haven’t previously attended, Corvettes at Carlisle is the largest Corvette event in the world with nearly 3,000 Corvettes on display, acres of parts, and Corvettes for sale.
The group will leave early Thursday, August 27 and return late Saturday, August 29. We carpool to Carlisle in trucks and SUV’s with some driving their Corvettes and parking in the Fun Field. We generally have a group leave from the Wake Forest area and another group leave from the Cary/Apex area.
The club has 4 spaces for our tents and parking. These 4 spaces also allow everyone carpooling daily admission into the show. All attendees will chip in to cover the cost of the spaces. Depending on the number of attendees, this cost is usually around $20.00 per person.
We are staying once again at the Hampton Inn in Mechanicsburg, PA. This year’s rate is $179.00 per night + taxes. The rooms have 2-queen beds. Please note in the comments if you want a single room. If you want to room with someone, please list their name in the comments.
The club will have a group dinners Thursday and Friday night. We are planning to have a reservation Thursday night for 5:00pm at Black n Bleu Restaurant, 6106 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA. For Friday, we are planning to have a 5:00pm reservation at Theo’s Bar and Grill, 3315 Hartzdale Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA. Dinner reservations and locations will be confirmed in June..
The optional Friday night activity is Williams Grove Speedway. Racing starts at 7:30, general admission ticket is $25.
