This Sunday Cruise will be a picnic on the grounds of Transitions LifeCare Center located in Raleigh. As a Club we have adopted Transitions as our primary charity to which we donate funds on a regular basis. They have invited us to come and do a walk-thru so we can see in person just who they are and what they “look like”.
So other than our destination being a bit unique everything else will be very similar to previous Cruises that have been picnics. Mary Alexion has generously offered to bring a cooler of ice cream for all of us ice cream lovers!
2 Stage-up Options:
1. Those of you who want to “stage-up” in the Wake Forest area can meet us at Stony Hill Baptist Church, 7521 Stony Hill Rd, Wake Forest. Departure time: 2:00.
2. All others can meet us at Transitions LifeCare at about 2:45.
Their address is: 250 Hospice Cir, Raleigh.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and non-alcoholic drinks for yourself.
Things to bring:
1. Lawn chairs (just in case all the tables are occupied)
2. Mosquito spray
3. Sunscreen
4. Food and non-alcoholic drinks for yourselves
