Corvette Day at Cars in the Quay

Cars in the Quay is a cars and coffee held the third Saturday of each month in Fuquay at the Aviator Brewery where we went for lunch on National Corvette Day. The theme for the November event is Corvettes. I thought several of us might want to go. Also, if you sign up, I can tell Dave Poole, their event coordinator, who arranges for theme spots, how many cars we would bring and he will reserve spaces for us.

They typically have between 500 and 600 cars in their parking areas. You are encouraged to ‘come early.’ So while the event officially begins at 8AM, I have indicated a 7:00 am start.

Each month they have a display of about 18 special cars representing that month’s theme and 20 – 100 theme spots.  Here is a write up that gives detailed information about attending the event and applying for displaying your prized cars in the special cars reserved parking.  2026 remaining schedule
