Sunday Afternoon Cruise: June 4, 2023

We’ll be cruising south to the small town of Coats, NC where there is a quaint, country style  ice cream shop, called Smith Farm. They have picnic tables, shade and a clean bathroom.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and non-alcoholic drinks for yourself.

Things to bring:

• Cash (for ice cream)
• Lawn chairs (just in case all the tables are occupied)
• Mosquito spray
• Sunscreen
• Food and non-alcoholic drinks for yourselves

3 Stage-up Options:

1. In Wake Forest at 11804 Galaxy Dr, Wake Forest.  This is the previous location of the Verizon Store and it is now Tracie’s Boots and Buckles. It’s located just north of Lowes Home Improvement on Galaxy Dr. Park on the street in front of the store.

• Departure time: 1:30.

2. In Garner at the New Bethel Baptist Church parking lot located at 2110 Benson Rd, Garner (this should be empty on a Sunday afternoon.)

• Departure time: 2:15

 3. You may choose to just meet us at Smith Farm Ice Cream Shop in Coats, 919 Hwy 55 E., Coats .
